How does Scan receipt work?
Take a photo of your checkout (top half, then bottom half for long ones). TipOut’s AI reads the printed numbers and fills in your shift. The first time you scan a checkout, it asks which line is which; after that it fills in automatically. You always review the numbers before saving. Photos are never stored by TipOut.
Scan receipt says I’ve used all my scans
Each account can scan up to 20 receipts a day. The limit resets at midnight UTC. You can always enter a shift by hand.
How does Bar Split divide tips?
It pools card and cash tips, subtracts the tip-out, and splits the rest by the hours each bartender worked. Tip-out comes out of card and cash in proportion, and everyone’s card and cash amounts add up exactly to the pool.
My pay period totals look wrong
Check Settings → Pay schedule. TipOut groups shifts by how often you’re paid (weekly, every 2 weeks or twice a month) and the date a period started.
How do I delete my account?
In the app, open Settings and tap Delete account. This permanently deletes your account and every shift you’ve logged.
